The Geneva Accords were documents addressed about the spread of Communism. It was also a conference from April to July. The meeting was attended by representatives from the United States, Cambodia, Britain, Russia, and the North and South Vietnamise. The Americans didn't want Communism and they would do anything to stop the spread of it. The U.S. set up a station in South Vietnam to make sure that Communism didn't reach the country. Many of the documents were unsigned but only one of the documents were signed by all of the countries. This was supposed to stop war but only made it a reality. This was one of the events that led to the buildup of the Vietnam War.
